On-going Influence
Unfortunately there are not many people who practice the Ancient Celtic ways (or perhaps fortunately considering their love for human sacrifice) so the religion itself it's not as present in modern day but The Ancient Celts have made a great influence on art and music that is visible and very present today.
There are many Celtic musical groups that have global success and many of them tell the myths of The Ancient Celts.
Examples are,-
-Celtic Thunder
-Celtic Woman
-Loreena McKennit
-Enya
There is also the particularly well known show 'Riverdance', a dance stage show incorporating many of the Celtic stories and gods through interpretive dance, and traditional irish music.
Other examples of on-going influence of Celtic religion is seen in modern day country music. If you were to compare the country music of today and the old folk music of the Celts it would be extremely similar in chordal structure, instrumentation and form.
Art, is a big way in which the Ancient Celtic religion has remained throughout time The Irish art seen today incorporates many of the Ancient Celtic such as, the cross and knots.
Many popular jewellery being sold today also show the on-going influence of the Celts. There are jewellery peices incorporating the ancient Celtic cross, the triade, knots and also the claddah.
Halloween (Samain festival) and St.Patrick's day being included in our calendars today is another sign of The Ancient Celths on-going influnce in society.
